Import a Panel for Targeting

Learn how to import panel data from supported providers to create audience segments for activation and expansion

What is an Imported Panel?

An Imported Panel is Loop's segment type that supports panel data from external providers to build audience segments for activation.

These panels typically come from surveys or relevant census data matched to digital identifiers.

How to Import a Panel

  1. Go to Segments.

  2. Click New Segment.

  3. In the Imported section, select Imported Panel.

  4. Set a name for your segment.

  5. Upload the panel file provided by your panel provider.

  6. After uploading your file, you can preview the content of the first 10 rows of data as well as the total row count.

    1. This helps you find any inconsistencies or mistakes when uploading the data.

  7. Click Import to upload your file

Data Availability

  • After upload, the segment will be populated within 24 hours.

  • Once ready, it can be:

  • Space and tabs (if TSV)

Common Questions

  • Can I upload panels from other countries?

    • Not yet. Currently, only Italy is supported.

  • What if my file doesn’t upload?

    • Make sure the file is from a supported provider and hasn’t been altered.

    • If issues persist, contact support.
