Setting up a Meta Ads seat in Loop allows you to activate audience segments and create targeted campaigns in Facebook and Instagram. Follow this guide to configure your seat and complete the required authorization process.
Meta Compliance Prerequisites
To activate your audiences on Meta Ads, please ensure the following prerequisites are met:
Facebook Account Permissions:
Your Facebook user account must have full access to the Facebook Business Account that owns the Ad Account you intend to use.
Your Facebook user account must have the Manage campaigns permission enabled for the Ad Account.
Adding Loop as a Partner:
In your Facebook Business Manager, add Loop as an advertising partner using business ID: 124871041434310.

Accepting Facebook Custom Audiences Terms:
This is a one-time prerequisite.
Review and accept the Facebook Custom Audiences Terms of Service.
Visit the following URL, replacing
[accountID]
with your Meta Ads Account ID:https://business.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos/?act=[accountID]&business_id=124871041434310
Ensure the URL includes business_id=124871041434310 when accepting the terms.
Important Notes:
When configuring permissions for Loop, ensure the Manage campaigns permission is enabled to facilitate integration.
Use the same Facebook user account for accepting the Custom Audiences Terms of Service that you used for Facebook API authentication.
How to Set Up a Meta Ads Seat
Once you confirm that all prerequisites are met, make sure to follow the following steps to connect Loop with your Meta Ads account.
Step 1: Create a New Seat
Go to Seats in the Loop platform.
Click Create New.
Select Your Seat Type
Select Facebook Ads as your platform.
Enter a seat name to help you identify this connection.
In the Seat ID field, enter your Meta Advertising ID (found in the top bar of Meta Ads Manager).
This is your Ad Account ID
Click Create.
Step 2: Contact your Account Manager
After creating the seat, contact your Account Manager. Meta requires additional verification on our end before enabling custom audiences. This step ensures compliance with their platform policies and must be completed before you can activate your data.
Step 3: Approve the Seat in Meta Business Manager
Once the seat is created in Loop and authorized by your Account Manager, you will need to approve the seat request in Meta Business Manager before activating audiences.
Within 24 hours after creating the seat in Loop and letting your account manager now, you will receive a notification in Meta Business Manager.
Open Meta Business Manager and navigate to Business Settings > Partners.
Approve Retargetly as a Business Partner.
Once approved, your seat will be fully connected, and you can begin activating audiences.
