Navigating the Loop UI

Learn how to navigate Loop’s UI, access key sections, manage data sources, build segments, and connect seats for activation.

Loop is designed for seamless navigation with a left-side navbar organizing all key sections. This guide provides an overview of the main areas and their functions, helping you efficiently move through the platform.

Accessing Loop

To log in, go to loop.retargetly.com and authenticate with your credentials. After logging in, you will land on the Overview page.

Understanding the Layout

Loop's interface consists of:

  • Left Navigation Bar – The primary way to access different sections of Loop.

  • Top Bar – Includes workspace selection, account settings, and notifications.

  • Main Content Area – Displays relevant content based on the selected section.

Left Navigation Bar: Key Sections

General

  • Overview – Provides a summary of connected first-party data sources and key insights.

  • Segments – The core of the platform, where users:

    • Build new audience segments.

    • View and manage previously created segments.

    • Send segments to external platforms for activation.

    • Use first-party data (1PD) rules or enrich segments with third-party data.

  • Seats – Where users connect destination platforms (DSPs, ad networks, etc.).

First-Party Data

  • Sources – Where users connect data sources, including Loop Tag, Mobile API, and file uploads.

  • Analytics – Provides demographic and behavioral insights on devices from connected sources, leveraging Loop’s data enrichment.

Third-Party Data

  • Planner – Build segments entirely from third-party data, using Loop’s database or partner datasets.

  • Keywords – Create niche audience segments based on keyword matches.

  • Geographics – Build audiences based on device geolocation data.

Top Bar Functions

  • Workspace Selector – Switch between different workspaces if applicable.

  • Account Settings – Manage user preferences and security settings.

  • Notifications Center – Stay informed about platform updates and changes
